“No more unrated carriers” – the new commitment from our partners at Bluewire. And they’re not doing it alone.
Bluewire is taking on one of the hardest problems in commercial trucking:
Fraud, cabotage, ghost vehicles, and a long tail of carriers the industry simply doesn’t understand well enough to assess.
For years, a significant portion of the market has effectively been “unrated” – no safety score, no risk history – not because it’s invisible, but because there hasn’t been enough reliable, connected data to confidently quantify risk.
We want to congratulate our partners at Bluewire on the incredible announcement:
A collaboration with the U.S. DOT Office of the Secretary for Research and Technology, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to build a data-driven framework that rates every motor carrier under DOT authority – closing the gaps that bad actors have exploited for years.
No more unrated carriers. No more blind spots to hide in.
This is the kind of initiative that moves the whole industry forward, and we’re proud to work with best-in-class partners like Bluewire who are leading that progress.
Draivn and Bluewire deliver a holistic solution that gives insurers, brokers, and MGAs a complete, validated view of fleet risk in one place, combining real-world exposure data with AI-powered severity analytics. Together, we help understand what drives frequency and severity, separate legitimate carriers from bad actors, and detect fraud, ghost vehicles included.
Big congratulations to the entire Bluewire team. Important work, very well deserved.
The industry needs more of this.
